California Privacy Notice
Last updated: 2026-08-18
This notice supplements our general Privacy Policy and describes the personal information Myrtlefin collects and the rights available to California residents (and residents of other states with similar laws) under the CCPA/CPRA and comparable state privacy laws.
Notice at Collection
This service is a matching site, not a lender. Personal information you submit when requesting a match — identifiers like name, email and phone, and request details like requested amount and purpose — is collected so we can route your request to the network of lenders you're asking to hear from. We retain it only as long as needed for that purpose or as required by law.
Categories of personal information collected
| Category | Examples | Purpose | Shared with |
|---|---|---|---|
| Identifiers | Name, email, phone number | Identification, contacting you about your request | Lenders you request to be matched with |
| Request/application details | Requested amount, purpose, general income/employment info you choose to provide | Matching you with lenders that fit what you asked for | Lenders you request to be matched with |
| Internet/device activity | IP address, browser/device type, pages viewed | Site security, fraud prevention, basic analytics | Our hosting/analytics service providers only |
Selling / sharing of personal information
Myrtlefin does not sell personal information for money. When you submit a request, we do forward it to the lenders in our network so they can respond to you — that forwarding is done at your direction and for the purpose you asked for, but California law defines "sharing" broadly enough that we treat it as covered here and offer the opt-out below regardless. We do not sell or share information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
