Credit Authorization
Last updated: 2026-08-18
By submitting your information through this Site, you authorize Myrtlefin and the lenders in our network to verify the information you provide (which may include your Social Security number, driver's license or other ID) and to review your creditworthiness.
How this review happens
Credit checks are typically performed through one of the major credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax, TransUnion) but may also include alternative bureaus. This may be a "soft" inquiry that does not affect your credit score at the request stage, though a lender you ultimately accept an offer from may separately run a "hard" inquiry as part of final underwriting — ask your matched lender directly which applies to their process.
Sharing your information
You authorize Myrtlefin to share your information and credit history with a network of approved lenders for the purpose of finding you a matching offer. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail on how your information is collected, used and shared.
